Side picture of the mad hatter's te party. Take a seat ... nono! not that one is taken!
From left to right: the red queen's chair, another guest chair (who knows ..), the mad hatter's armchair, Alice's chair, the white queen's bench where she left her crown and another bench with books for the little mouse. The table has been assorted with different sweets, cups, teapots and plates. Everything is handmade except: Alice's chair which was bought (is slightly bigger and fits perfectly since Alice is a giant or tiny, hard to be normal!), Mirana's crown is a metal bead. EDIT: i forgot to mention what i've used to make this piece, so here comes the list: - cardboard leftovers (and from cereal boxes etc, which my mum was going to trash and there was i saying "nooo mum, it's good material! lolz). - fabrics; mostly silk and satin, plus a filling to make the chairs more confotable for their ocupants - pine strings for the structures plus a good glue (my fav is Unipox, i am so used to this one that i hardly notice the smell XD) - wood: balsa wood, pre cuted heart shape, pre cuted cirlce. - wire and kitchen paper for the red queend chair -it's a very experimental chair from which i learned about certain mistakes- -cakes and tea pieces: fimo, cernit and a japanese one which is gooooorgeous to work with!, acrylics, varnishes. - my hands, tons of patience and most importan; imagination
